4. Data Collected When Visiting Our Website
When you access our website, the browser used on your device automatically sends information to our website's server (including IP address, date and time of the request, browser type and version, operating system used, referrer URL). This data is temporarily stored in a so-called log file to ensure the functionality and security of the website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). This data is not combined with other data sources.
5. Contact Form
If you send us enquiries via our contact form, the details you provide in the enquiry form – including the contact details you enter there (name, company if applicable, email address, message) – are stored by us for the purpose of processing your enquiry and in case of follow-up questions. We do not pass on this data without your consent.
The processing of the data entered into the contact form is therefore based solely on your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR) or on the handling of pre-contractual enquiries (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). The data is deleted as soon as it is no longer required to achieve the purpose for which it was collected, at the latest once your enquiry has been fully processed, unless statutory retention obligations require otherwise.
6. Google Fonts
To ensure a consistent display of fonts, this website uses so-called Google Fonts, provided by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland ("Google"). When a page is accessed, your browser loads the required fonts directly from Google's servers, which establishes a connection to Google's servers and transmits your IP address to Google. The legal basis for this is our legitimate interest in a consistent and appealing presentation of our website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Further information on Google Fonts can be found at https://developers.google.com/fonts/faq and in Google's privacy policy at https://policies.google.com/privacy.
7. Google Maps
Our website uses the Google Maps mapping service and the Google Maps JavaScript API, provided by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. When you access a page with an embedded Google Maps map, your browser establishes a direct connection to Google's servers. In doing so, Google may collect your IP address and location data, among other things. We have no influence over the type and scope of the data collected by Google.
This use serves our interest in an appealing presentation of our offerings and easy discoverability of our hotel (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Further information on how user data is handled can be found in Google's privacy policy at https://policies.google.com/privacy.
8. Cookies
Our website currently does not use cookies for tracking or marketing purposes. Should this change, we will inform you accordingly and, where required, obtain your consent in advance.
9. SSL/TLS Encryption
For security reasons, this website uses SSL/TLS encryption to protect the transmission of confidential content, such as enquiries you send to us as the site operator. You can recognise an encrypted connection by the padlock icon in your browser's address bar and by the address bar switching from "http://" to "https://".
10. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We reserve the right to amend this privacy policy so that it always complies with current legal requirements or to reflect changes to our services. The version in effect at the time of your next visit will apply.
